A Marine Corps Veteran, Joe is co-founder and President of White Lion Farms Foundation, a 501c3 based in Upstate New York that serves underprivileged communities through creating ecological agricultural systems that improve local food security, environmental health and strengthening community. Working in both the urban and rural landscape, Joe brings a wealth of knowledge as well as hands on experience from a wide variety of ecoregions, ranging from the Temperate deciduous forest of the Northeastern U.S. to the tropical forests of Columbia and Central America.” As our Field Team Coordinator, Joe leads our field teams in performing Agroforestry, Permaculture, and Ecological Restoration. In other words, it’s Joe’s work that takes a design and turns it into reality!
